QQ. Garrosh is stupid.

When allies attack I'll make a point of going to Org just to spit on him while he fights.

If I wasn't a raider, and if the SW king wasn't just as big a douche, I'd consider switching factions.

He is a complete douche, but the name "Hellscream" makes anything badass by default.

SWTOR release date was postponed to Spring 2011 tentative. This basically means that we shouldn't expect Cataclysm anytime before Q4, 2010.

While I don't deny that Blizzard is cunning with planning their release dates & patches, I don't think that the rescheduling of a single game would have much, if any, effect on WoW development.

The most anticipated mmorpg of 2010 in FF xiv anyway. Guild Wars 2 is also pretty high up there.

If Cataclysm doesn't happen until Q4, blizzard would probably have to make a SWP type instance.

Its Bioware first MMO. I would expect they want a smooth launch unlike most MMO's that are released half finished (like Wow), unstable, (War, etc.), or just terrible. Delays like this always happen.

GW2 got postponed to late 2011 already.

FF series has their own cult following. They dont target the NA market that much anyways. So, it will be highly successful in it's own cult base as always.

Bioware is HUGE. They are probably the most successful game developing company in gaming history. They are coming with a tremendous history of a long list of highly successful RPGs. In short, they know RPGs better than anybody else in the industry. The question is whether they know how to take it to the MMO level. It's a big step for them; but if they can't do it nobody else can.

Meh, I appreciate Bioware & Square. Most of what you've said applies to both of these companies & Square has one more notch under their belt for MMO experience, so I give them the advantage there - but I plan to try both anyway.

Granted FFxiii is definitely cultish, but their stated goal is for ffxiv to be more accessible.

I wasn't talking personally, several anticipation, top voted, most anticipated lists put the order as
1) FF xiv
2) SWTOR
3) GW2

Warhammer could have had huge potential but was lost due to mangagement changes, incomplete gameplay, etc. Also their PVE model blew. I know they wanted to go for immersive PVP but even that wasn't really up to par. The hardware couldn't handle the city sieges and people were just farming PVE bosses for PVP gear instead of actually doing PVP in the cities. So on every level the game was not finished.
